Our Story
Glen Garth was established in 1987 by Hayley's parents “Bill & Barbara”.
After losing her Mother in 2005, her Father continued to successfully run “Glen Garth” alone. After a long run of ill health, through the pandemic, Bill moved into a care home in 2021.
John and Hayley took over for a period of time and ran it for her father. After the success of this, and with the support of her siblings, they decided to take the reins themselves and became the full time Proprietors in May 2022.

Meet your hosts
John is a landscape gardener and tree surgeon, in Saint Tropez, where they both lived at the time when they met. Hayley is a specialist primary school teacher.
They met back in 2011, married and moved to England in 2016.
John still has his business back in France, but took on the role of Chef here. When he's not in the kitchen making breakfast, he's at the gym, out on his bike, surfing, paddle boarding, skiing, wing foiling or playing his bass guitar, And if Hayley is not here cleaning rooms she is with John.
